The Caribbean Association of Georgia is looking for vendors for its “South Metro Caribbean Festival,” until Saturday, Aug. 27. The association needs vendors to provide, food, arts and crafts, and promotions. The Clayton County Board of Health will host “Youth Services Provider Academy” on Monday, Aug. 29, from 8 a.m., to 4 p.m., and Aug. 30, from 8 a.m., to 12:30 p.m. The two-day free event will be held at The Morrow Center, 1180 Southlake Circle, Suite 100, Morrow. Only youth-serving agencies and organizations are allowed to attend. Pacific Intercultural Exchange will be accepting host families for its academic semester and year “homestay” programs, until Wednesday, Aug. 31. The international students will be ages 15 to 18. The Clayton County Water Authority’s fishing reservoirs will be open for the fishing season. The Shamrock/Blalock Reservoir, located at 2610 Shamrock Road, Jonesboro, is open Wednesdays, through Sundays, until Oct. 30, from 7 a.m., to 8 p.m. The J.W. Smith Reservoir, located at 143 Northbridge Road, Hampton, will be open Saturdays, through Wednesdays, until Oct. 31, during the same operation hours.
