Pets of the Week - Scrappy Do

Scrappy Doo is a three and a half year old Chihuahua mix. Scrappy's previous owner was caught in the criminal act of abandoning this poor boy. She simply drove into a local neighborhood, opened the car door, and set out the carrier containing Scrappy, on the side of the road.

Luckily, a resident saw this crime being committed, and she immediately stepped in to help the dog. When she confronted the criminal, and asked what she was doing, the criminal responded that she didn't want the dog anymore and then simply drove away. Unfortunately, because of how things happened, the criminal got away with her crime, and the kind resident found herself with a dog that she could not keep.

When Scrappy was brought to CCHS by the "hero" who rescued him, we simply could not turn him away. He is very, very sweet and just loves everyone he meets. He is always happy, and actually seems to be smiling at times. This adorable little guy will make a great best friend and couch companion!
