Paul Hos, 64, passed peacefully at the Sacred Journey Hospice on Aug. 21, 2011, surrounded by family and friends. He worked for Eastern Airlines 24 years, then as a courier for UPS Logistics, and retired in March 2010. Paul lived in Sun City, Griffin, Ga., with his wife of 30 years, Suzy.

He is survived by sons, Paul A. Hos, of Loxahatchee, Fla., and Michael Hos, of Atlanta.

Paul loved his family and friends and was an avid fan of the Florida Gators, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame college teams, and the Atlanta Braves. He was an active member of the Locust Grove United Methodist Church, and will be missed by all who knew him.

Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, Aug. 28, at 2:30 p.m., from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bill Curington officiating. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the Locust Grove United Methodist Church, Sacred Journey Hospice, or Longleaf Hospice in memory of Paul.
