The Henry County Fire Department Dive Team recently trained at Tussahaw Water Reservoir.
Divers performed various maneuvers used when conducting an underwater search-and-recovery mission.
"The skills are that of which the divers already possess, however to stay sharp they must train regularly in conditions they are likely to be faced with in a real situation," said Henry County Fire Capt. Sabrina Puckett in a written statement.
She added that newer and better techniques to mitigate situations are always on the horizon, in an effort to maintain sharp skills and to learn more effective ways to carry out search and recovery missions.
