Mrs. Barbara Kathleen Johnsey McBerry, 81, of Jonesboro, passed away, Dec. 3, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bill McBerry; daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Butch Thiessen; son and daughter-in- law, Alan and Kelly McBerry; grandchildren, Jeremy Thiessen, Julie (Pat) Sams, Kimberly McBerry, Kristen McBerry, Hailey Fisher, Chloe McBerry; great-grandchildren, Maddie Thames, Emory Thames; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 5, at 2:30 p.m., in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment was at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends on Sunday, Dec. 4, from 3 p.m., to 5 p.m, at the funeral home. Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, Inc., Jonesboro/Stockbridge was in charge of arrangements, www.fordstewartfuneralhome.com.
