MILTON, Ga. (AP) — Homeowners in a metro Atlanta subdivision say they're angered that someone would toss a baby Jesus from a Nativity scene and damage other Christmas displays at up to five homes.
Ken Tazza told WSB-TV that vandals also hung a Santa Claus lawn ornament from a tree. He said that was a terrible thing for children to have to see.
Residents discovered the vandalism when they awoke Saturday morning in the Gates Mill subdivision in Milton, north of Atlanta.
Authorities say yards were littered with bent, broken and even beheaded Christmas decorations. Reindeer lights were knocked over and an inflatable Santa Claus was flattened.
