MARIETTA -- The final F-22 Raptor fighter jet is scheduled to roll off the assembly line at a Lockheed Martin plant in Marietta on Tuesday.
Reports say that the jet will be the last of 187 F-22s produced for the U.S. Air Force, completing its operational fleet.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the F-22 features a mix of stealth, advanced sensors and advanced air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons.
About 2,000 workers have assembled the jets at the Marietta plant since the late 1990s.
