Mr. Billie Richard Jenkins, Jr., 56, of Stockbridge, passed away Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011.
He is survived by his parents, Barbara and Billie Richard Jenkins, Sr., of Stockbridge; daughters and sons-in-law, Penny Leigh and Joey Smith, of Acworth, Keri Ann and Chris Jessop, of Jacksonville, Fla.; son, Billie Richard Jenkins, III, of Stockbridge; brother and sister-in-law, the Rev. Michael and Berena S. Jenkins, of Stockbridge; and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 19, at 1 p.m., at Peoples Baptist Church in McDonough, with Dr. David McCoy officiating. The body will lie in-state for 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, Dec. 18, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the funeral home.
