Mr. Richard Eugene Magar, 58, of McDonough, passed away Dec. 20, 2011.
Rick was born in Montgomery, Ala., the son of the late Eugene Miller and Marilyn Charlene Anderson Magar. He was self-employed and owned Rehab Technologies Inc. Rick enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and helping children with disabilities with their wheelchair equipment. He enjoyed drag racing, antique cars, car shows, swap meets and camping. Survivors are his fiancée, Kimberly Ramsey, of McDonough; brother and sister-in-law, Ronne and Diane Ladet, of Montgomery, Ala.; nieces, Jennifer Rigdon, of Villa Rica, Ga., and Kerri Boles, of Atlanta. Funeral services for Rick will be Thursday evening, Dec. 22, at 7 p.m., in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with the Rev. Alive Rodgers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be on Friday, Dec. 23, at 1 p.m., Central Standard Time, at the Greenwood Serenity Cemetery in Montgomery, Ala.Haisten Funeral Home, McDonough, is in charge of arrangements, (770) 914-8833, haistenfunerals.com.More like this story
