An investigation is ongoing into an alleged bank-card theft at a McDonough department store.
The theft occurred Oct. 15, between 11:30 a.m., and noon, inside the Ross store at 1900 Jonesboro Road.
“The victim’s change purse, containing her bank cards and Georgia driver license, was taken,” said Henry County Police Sgt. Mike Ireland. “ [At] approximately 12:19 p.m., several charges were made on her Bank of America check card,” he said.
