Special Photo Police are attempting to identify and locate two men who allegedly robbed an Ellenwood Auto Zone store, at gunpoint, Dec. 2.
Two unidentified men are suspected in a recent armed robbery at an automotive parts store.
The incident occurred Dec. 2, at approximately 8:49 p.m., inside the Auto Zone at 4460 West Panola Road, in Ellenwood, according to Henry County Police Sgt. Mike Ireland.
Ireland said one of the suspects entered the store first, and confirmed that two employees were the only people inside.
He gets the two employees under control at gunpoint, and has an employee go open the door for his partner, who over-watches the robbery, said the sergeant.
Both suspects are described as black males. One, a short man with a mustache, was seen wearing a black hoodie, black hat, navy blue pants and white tennis shoes. At the time of the robbery, Ireland said, the man was carrying a backpack, brandished a firearm and demanded cash.
The second, taller suspect wore a black hood, green jacket with a dark marking on the right elbow and a possible tear by the right pocket, baggie blue jeans and black shoes, said Ireland. The suspects fled on foot.
