The Clayton State men's basketball team enters tonight's game desperately needing a win.
After two-straight losses, the Lakers have a chance to snap the streak when they host Peach Belt Conference foe Lander in a 7:30 tip-off.
The Lakers come into the game with a 15-7 record overall and a 9-4 mark in the Peach Belt Conference.
Until losing to Georgia Southwestern and Georgia College, the Lakers had won three games in a row.
Tonight, they look to get back on track against 9-12 Lander. The Bearcats are 2-11 in the league.
Clayton State is averaging 71.5 points per game. They are giving up just 63.9 points per game. Lander is scoring 68.9 points per game and giving up 69.5 points per game.
The Lakers are led by point guard Timmy Downs, who is averaging 20.3 points per game and Brandon Robinson's 19.4 points per game.
Clayton State will have to stop David Purett's 13.3 points per game average. Lander won its last outing against Armstrong Atlantic, 65-51.
Admission to tonight's game is free.
