Skelton, Annie Ruth Age: 88
Passed Away: 2011-02-11 Funeral Home: Haisten Funeral Home Annie Ruth Skelton Mrs. Annie Ruth Skelton, 88, of McDonough, passed away Feb. 11, 2011. She was born in Porterdale, Ga., where she was a member of County Line Baptist Church. Annie Ruth enjoyed painting, ceramics and Atlanta Braves baseball games. She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Randolph Skelton. Survivors include her sons, Dennis (Judy) Whatley, of Riverdale, Terry Whatley, of McDonough; grandchildren, Regina Yawn, Jessica Whatley and Dodie; seven great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Feb. 13, at 2 p.m., from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family Saturday, from 6 p.m., to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Contributions are asked to be made to Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in memory of Annie Ruth Skelton.
