Piper was born at CCHS on March 23, 2004. She is an absolutely stunning calico shorthair. Her mother was pregnant, and sitting on "death row" at Animal Control. Knowing that a pregnant mom didn't stand a chance at being adopted, CCHS staff brought her to our shelter so that she could safely deliver her babies. Piper was adopted when she was only a few months old, and all was well for about 5 years. Then her family became unable to care for her, and sadly, she was returned to CCHS. Piper was overwhelmed by all the other cats living at the shelter, and she became a bit bossy with her "roomies". She has now been back at the shelter for nearly 2 years, and she has become a little more patient with the other cats, but clearly, she would like to be an "only child". Anyone interested in adopting Piper should contact Robin at 770-478-7531. Please visit our Petfinder pages to see many more adoptable animals.
