* Ralph: 'I am not guilty' of DUI charges

Mr. Ralph, can you please explain to your constituents and the citizens of Clayton County, why you refused to take the field sobriety test?

* Ralph: 'I am not guilty' of DUI charges

The entire Clayton County Board of Commissioners needs to be "Dethroned" immediately. Once again, here's just another reason why the citizens of Clayton including all the other surrounding counties should either relocate or choose not to move into Clayton County. This is ridiculous... the leadership in Clayton is going to h3ll in a hand-basket.

* Ralph: 'I am not guilty' of DUI charges

What a joke. Anyone who has fought with police and refused to obey what they are lawfully trying to do should not have any business in sitting on the commission board, who make vital decisions related to police activities (ie. budget, police raises, overall support for law enforcement.) He obviously has no respect for the profession. And then to say he is not guilty of anything!!! Were they just harrassing you Wole?? I am sure most people were driving on that same median and they just picked you....... You are a complete joke, just like rest of Clayton County.

* Ralph: 'I am not guilty' of DUI charges

This man appears to be just one more source of disgrace for Clayton County. While there are many good, hard working folks down here, it is a person like this who seems to always be in the news. His two cronies on the Commission were quick to jump to his defense. Their comments that they had not heard anything that bothered them is pitiful. MADD needs to get into the mix and stay on top of this one until it is resolved in the Courts. As a career LEO, I can tell you that I have seen what was described by the arresting officers on many occasions. This guy is toast!

* Law firm facing federal malpractice suit

Lawyers, using rules and precedents have destroyed all sense of reason and responsibility and done great damage to the honest, God fearing residents of Henry County. Does this really surprise anyone? Is anyone awake out there? This type of chicanery has long existed here for the express purpose of padding the pockets, at our expense, of the County elite. Money talks and bull____ walks. Yes, Houston, we have a problem. Allow the people of this and every other County/Parish's people to be educated in their rights and responsibilities as Grand and Petit Jurists and we can end this nightmare. Until and unless we do this it will always be business as usual. This news organization could help by getting the message to the people who actually buy their paper to read and understand their rights as fully expressed by the Fully Informed Jury Association. FIJA.ORG Get real Henry County and take it back!!!! This very same Judicial district continues to ignore the 08 election fraud by Soetoro.

* Commissioner Holmes denies spousal abuse

He said...... In regards to the allegations, they are totally false. ... If they were totally false then he should give the details on the incident. Just because no one was arrested does not mean there was not an incident. Sounds like he is trying to hide something.

* Ralph: 'I am not guilty' of DUI charges

This is amazing to me, how a commissioner that is against drunk driving will face no consequences concerning his charges of reckless drunk driving behavior, but would be the first to step on anyone esle with these allegations. I think this is tastless conduct and he should be removed from the Board of Commissioners.

* Commissioner Holmes denies spousal abuse

The allegations are not true but details won't be released because it was a report of Family violence? Does anyone else find that strange? Come on Henry Herald, how about a FOIA request for the report or an interview with the Mrs.

* Jonesboro wants to track foreclosed homeowners

I thought if a house is foreclosed on, the owner no longer owns it???? The bank does. Why would anyone that lost their house still be responsible for that house???? Clayton County Politics at it's finest.

* Local wrestlers bring home titles

Great job Southern Crescent! South Metro represented!

* Ralph: 'I am not guilty' of DUI charges

Yet another prime example of why Clayton County is in such bad shape. Our local government spends more time defending their personal lives and actions than they do on county business. We threw out the school board, maybe it is time to wipe the slate clean with the commission.

* Ralph: 'I am not guilty' of DUI charges

Indeed! Clayton County jail is totally filled with innocents -- just like Ralph. He does not even have the decency to resign, and Chairman Bell will do nothing! (And we wonder why we are losing business, and no new businesses moving in!)

* Couple suspected in operation of illegal business

Public Defenders? With the assets the couple apparently have; how did they qualify for a free lawyer? After both are convicted; the property/equipment auctioned off, this money should be given directly to the court/D.A not go into the county general fund to get thrown away.

* Local wrestlers bring home titles

Congradulations Coach Fordham and his wresling Team of Locust Grove. Great Job!

* Man found guilty in Little Caesars murder

Im glad to see the justice system working out for us. Please continue to keep the Patterson family in your prayers. I love you guys.

* 12 Southern Crescent wrestlers reach finals

Andy Khair is a Henry County resident.

* Local educator earns U.S. Citizenship

To be totally honest Im not in favor of having teachers in the county system that are not already full citizens.I did not know this was happening. Im not in favor of anyone having a county job that is not a U.S. citizen.

* Law firm facing federal malpractice suit

For the integrity of the citizens this firm should be suspended from doing business with government entities until they resolve this issue. The local politicans, in bed with these lawyers, refuse to even consider the petitions of their citizens. There will never be integrity in local government as long as they continue doing business as usual

* Commissioner hosts workshop on bullying

This is really just an other campaign appearance by a commissioner whose only real ambition is her career advancement. Call it what you want. When she was in Victor Hill's sheriff's office all she did was draw a salary and campaign for commissioner. Never hit a lick when she was there.

* Starr steps down from county policy position

Another inaccessible local politican who could care less about keeping his constituants informed. Nobody seems to know anything over at the Commission. Don't expect to hear much from anyone either, they prefer to keep the public in the dark

* Jonesboro wants to track foreclosed homeowners

This is another example of government ineptitude and a typical knee-jerk reaction by local officials to shake down citizens. A failure on the part of our leaders to plan and prepare. Why don't they know how many properties are in foreclosure? Why are they just now trying to come up with this list? Follow the money and you will see their true interest. If we had had competent administrators and not self-serving politicans this would not be the the massive problem it is. These idiots got us into this mess with lax record keeping and we expect them to have the wisdom to get us out?

* BOC aims to curb personal attacks

I was once told that a hit dog will holla. Commissioner Hambrick was the news recently for using Clayton County Housing Authority Funds to pay for security for a private event. Can the suffering citizens of Clayton County get our money back.

* BOC aims to curb personal attacks

Got Scared? No one forced you to run for public office. Now that the leadership in Clayton County has taken it's toll. The CCBOC don't want hear opinions from members of the public? Well don't take our tax dollars. With the cost of fuel on the rise, every first, second and third Tuesday we can all stay home. For starters, Mr. Chairman can the citizens of Clayton County have our car back. Just, an FYI keeping your personal business out of the public would eliminate 90% of your battle. The CCBOC has spent enough of taxpayers dime defending it's personal battles.

* Ralph: 'I am not guilty' of DUI charges

Innocent until proven guilty haters! The law applies to all. Judging by these posts Clayton County is still stupid is as stupid does. Surely all of you have never been accused of breaking a law or you would be singing another tune!

* Ralph: 'I am not guilty' of DUI charges

I agree with all of the posts. This man should be removed from his seat and he is an embarassament to Clayton County. Out on Metropolitian Blvd in Atlanta on the weekend. We have not forgot it is Stewart Ave. who are you trying to fool?

* BOC aims to curb personal attacks

Why is there a need for a policy to curtail perceived personal attacks? What have "you" done to be personally attacked? You and a few of your fellow commissioners have been going around censuring upstanding citizens of Clayton Co but can't even pass a Ethics Policy to govern yourselves. You can have a voice but are aiming to take away the voice of the people, your constituents that voted you in office. You only want us to talk to you when it is for your benefit & convenience? We have a voice & will be heard. If you take time & listen you make learn from constructed criticism, not taking advice personal if it doesn't pertain to you.

* Ralph: 'I am not guilty' of DUI charges

I am not going to jump to any conclusions, but it sure does sound like Mr. Ralph was drunk and his lack of cooperation was because he didn't want to get busted for DUI. His "fellow" commissioners throwing their support behind him almost have too, they have hitched their wagons to him and are stuck. He is not going to come clean and surely I don't expect him to admit any wrong doing, after all, he is a politician. A very arrogant politician. He needs to step up and be a man, take responsibility for his actions. And on top of this, they (the BOC) want to limit public comment, people in Clayton County better wake up, things have not gotten better, they have gotten worse, some of this is thanx to Mr. Ralph. He is the "defacto" chairman.

* BOC aims to curb personal attacks

BOC if you people would work for what the people of clayton county need from BOC you would not have to worry about being called names. Just this week one has had a run in with law enforcement. He thinks he's above the law.You talk about what the school board did they are as big of a joke as yall are.If you can NOT stand the heat get out of the kitchen.

* Commissioner Holmes denies spousal abuse

Is anyone really surprised ? Im not.

* Commissioner Holmes denies spousal abuse

No court releases Family Violence records... It's meant to protect the victim. Open records requests do not cover this type of investigation. So...we are left to only wonder what happened (not that it matters because we have ALL had family issues before, I am certain). Let it rest. No one was arrested or hospitalized. He's right...This is his personal business and unless he is arrested, it has nothing to do with the public and should have no impact on his elected duties.

* McDonough officials back county transportation plans

Go ahead and grab the other penny out of my pocket Henry County. SPLOST is a specified tax on the people that live here disite what you try to tell the people. At a time when jobs in this county are nill and foreclosure is king of the newcast, you want to get in my pocket a little deeper. Spend your time and my money on issues that will not continue the "crime corrider" from Atlanta and Clayton County any further south. Protect us from the element that rapes our children, shoots our business owners, and robs our mothers and let them know that Henry County is not the place to commit crime and try to run north to the protection of the housing projects of Atlanta. Or build the roads better to give these trolls the quick access away after your daughter is molested, robbed, and killed at the hands of the crack head you built the road for. Think about it B. J. and concern yourself with more the pressing matters in Henry County like the pine straw in front of your office.

* Ralph: 'I am not guilty' of DUI charges

Good move using the Hosa Williams defense.

* BOC aims to curb personal attacks

People jobs are being taken away, benefits erased, no cost of living or raises, gas and food costs a rocketing up, people are FRUSTRATED...you were elected becasue you said I can help make it better and frustrated tax payers need to vent somewhere...take it like the professional and do something to help others instead of yourselves and stop whining.

* BOC aims to curb personal attacks

The BOC should focus more on addressing the ethics policy that a group did for them over three years ago. What happened to it? The citizens suffer enough from abuse from their poor leadership so just let them try to muzzle the public. There would be hell to pay.

* Commissioner Holmes denies spousal abuse

I have heard some peple say diversity is a good thing. Here is your good example of it.

* Starr steps down from county policy position

This man was not voted in. He help to create this job for him for only a couple of years if that. He is not in charge of the commission. The county ran without this made up position for years. Matter of fact since this position has been created and he was put there I have not seen anything good for the whole of the county. we are still the way we were before we decided to let him create a position and take our money. Hell we would like to have extra money on a made up position. So i am glad he is stepping down and yes we as citizens do expect to see money back in the budget for not having to pay him.

* Man charged with giving gun to boy

The Victim was known and loved by many and will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had a beautiful soul, big dreams and a huge heart. It is an absolute tragedy that either of these boys felt that the only resolution to this situation was to take the life of another human being. No one deserves to lose their lives in this manner. I pray that Justice is served and hope that the many young people who have been affected by this brutal tragedy or other like situations can learn to resolve their grievances, dislikes, confrontations and all that they are faced with through methods other than violence. I hope that the parents and other adults and family members that surround them are there to help them to work through these issues and help them say "NO" to violence. "Decisions Determine Destiny" PLEASE MAKE THEM WISELY!

* Commissioner Holmes denies spousal abuse

Hey Commissioner It is not a private matter when Law Enforcement gets involved because they are being paid by taxpayers and could be catching criminals somewhere else besides fooling with this stuff. The hosting of a community meeting to hear any concerns seems like a diversion. Some get conserned when a commissioner fails to give an explantion to incidents like this.
