Clayton County Public Schools' Fine Arts Department will perform its 2011 all-county musical production of "Willy Wonka" on Friday, Jan. 14; Saturday, Jan. 15, and Sunday, Jan. 16, at the Clayton County Performing Arts Center, which is located at 2530 Mt. Zion Pkwy., in Jonesboro. The performances will begin at 7 p.m., for the Jan. 14, and Jan. 15 performances, and at 2:30 p.m., for the Jan. 16 performance. The Everett Music School is offering a Music After School Program for local children, at the school's new location at the Emmanuel Baptist Church Campus, at 230 Ga. Hwy. 138, Bldg. B, in Riverdale. Through the program, youths receive homework assistance, Criterion-Reference Competency Test (CRCT) preparation, math and reading enrichment, and music lessons for piano, drums, singing and music theory.
