Poncho (black and white) and Paloma (blonde and white) are 8 month old Papillion/Chihuahua mixes. These two little angels were surrendered by their former owner at the young age of 8 weeks old. She did understand how to properly care for them, and they were dangerously ill at the time of surrender. After dispensing a little knowledge and lots of "TLC", our CCHS staff was able to pull these little angels through their crisis. Now many months later, they are the "stars" of the shelter! They have been so "babied" and spoiled...they don't even realize that they are actually dogs! They are both extremely happy and healthy, and they love everyone. Whether or not they may be adopted separately will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Due to the extremely small size and fragility of these dogs, they may not be adopted to a home with small children. Small breed experience is preferred, but not required. Anyone interested in either of these dogs, should contact Clayton County Humane Society at 770/471-9436. Please visit our Petfinder pages to see many other adoptable animals. We can be found at www.Petfinder.com, and use our 30236 zip code for your search.
