Mundy's Mill got 10 points apiece from Devanti Bagley and Khari Hobbs and came back from a nine-point third-quarter deficit for a 54-45 win at Forest Park in a Region 4-AAAA game. The win was the Tigers' seventh in their past eight games. Down 35-26 midway through the third quarter, Mundy's Mill (8-5, 3-4) went on a 12-0 run to seize control of the game. Jordan Spann had nine points and three steals for the Tigers, while Jarvis Moses added nine points and eight rebounds, and Darrius Sizemore had eight points and seven rebounds. Kashad Chinn had nine points, seven rebounds and three blocks to lead Forest Park (7-7, 3-5). Girls basketball Woodland got 13 points from Lindsey Reed and held on for a 37-33 win over Griffin in a Region 3-AAAA game Friday night. Ayana Lambert scored 11 points for the Lady Wolfpack (11-3, 4-1), which was coming off its worse defeat of the season, a 64-42 loss to Alcovy.More like this story
