The Clayton State women are about to take their perfect 14-0 undefeated season to the national stage. The fast start includes a 6-0 Peach Belt Conference record.
Saturday afternoon the Lakers travel to USC Aiken for a nationally televised Peach Belt Conference showdown.
The game will be shown on CBS College Sports Network at noon.
Head coach Dennis Cox's club is off to the best start in school history. USC-Aiken brings a 14-2 record into the game along with a 7-0 Peach Belt record.
Clayton State is ranked fifth in latest NCAA Division II poll. USC Aiken is ranked 18th.
The Lady Lakers have appeared on television a handful of other times. The Lakers games at the final four in 23007 were on televison as were the tea's PBC championship games in 2005 and 2006.
Anne Marie Anderson will handle the play-by-play and Kritina Bluck will serve as the game's color commentator.
