Hendrix, John Sr. Age: 89
Passed Away: 2011-01-15 Funeral Home: John Hendrix, Sr., 89, of Stockbridge, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan.19, at 1 p.m., in the Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel, in Stockbridge. Rev. Mike Waddell will officiate the service. Interment is scheduled to be held at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge. Mr. Hendrix was a member of New Hope Methodist Church, and served in the U.S. Army. He, and his late wife of 57 years, Rosa Florence (Dobbs) Hendrix, were the foster parents to 92 children. He is survived by his son, John Hendrix, Jr., of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Todd, Kim, Penny and Casey; great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Coltyn, and sister, Shirley Hendrix. Horis A.
