Passed Away: 2011-01-16 Funeral Home: Ford-Stewart Funeral Home Harvey J. McCurry Mr. Harvey J. McCurry, 78, of Jonesboro, passed away Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Allan and Sonya McCurry, of Stockbridge, Phillip Stanley and Donna McCurry, of Newnan; brother and sister-in-law, Grady Ray and Beverly McCurry, of Morrow; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Bill Roberts, of Spring, Texas, and five grandchildren, Amber, Lyndsay, Adam, Chelsey and James Vaughn. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 11 a.m., in the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro Chapel, with the Rev. Irvin Pearre and Lanson Newsome officiating. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends TODAY (Tuesday, Jan. 18), from 2 p.m., to 4 p.m., and 6 p.m., to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
