Wilson, Birdie Lou Age: 75
Passed Away: 2011-01-19 Funeral Home: Sherrell Funeral Home Birdie Lou Wilson Mrs. Birdie Lou Wilson, age 75, of Jackson, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011 at Spalding Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 5, 1935 in Cleveland, Ala., to the late William and Katherine Akins Bowen. She loved her family and enjoyed quilting, gospel music and TV. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Chuck Kibling, of Jackson, Wanda and Ricky Clark, of Woodstock, Brenda and Tommy Roper, of McDonough; one son, Jimmy Andrews, of Locust Grove; sister, Edna Brownlee, of Flovilla; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Noah Wilson. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 23, at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Gene Sellers officiating. Interment was at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge. The family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday, Jan. 22, from 4 to 8 p.m. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrellfh.com.
