Jaxon is a 5 year old Shih Tzu/Bichon mix. He has been neutered and fully vaccinated. Jaxon's former owner lost his job and was no longer able to take care of him, so Jaxon was surrendered to CCHS. Jaxon was in dire need of a serious grooming and haircut upon arrival at CCHS, but we quickly discovered that he is TERRIFIED of grooming clippers. He can be bathed, combed or brushed, and then allows the use of scissors, but he can't tolerate the sight or sound of electric clippers. Other than that little issue (which is easily worked around), Jaxon is a sweet, affectionate little guy. He does well with other dogs, and his former owner reports that he also loves to be with kids. His best friend and kennel-mate at CCHS is "Queenie" (an adorable little Corgi/Sheltie mix), and it will certainly not be a requirement, but CCHS would love to see these two adopted together.....they really are crazy about each other.
