The Clayton County Library System's Lovejoy Branch will host a "One World, Many Spanish Stories" Preschool Story Time on Wednesday, July 6, from 10:30 a.m., to 11:15 a.m., at 1721 McDonough Rd., in Hampton. Call (770) 472-8129.


Several teens from Clayton County recently graduated from The Clay National Guard Youth Challenge Program in Marietta, Ga. They are: Sean Stanley, Willie Johnson, Devin Walton and Devon Walton, all of Riverdale; Richard Zuniga and Sierra Moss, both of Forest Park; Alexander Rojas and Shaquille Hunte, both of Jonesboro; Ashaunte Bennett, of College Park; D'Honess Rozier, of Morrow; and Kevin Meeks, of Rex. They were among the 215 YCA cadets of the Class of 2011 to complete the program.


The Clayton County Public Library System offers many services to students, including tutoring programs for those who speak either English, or Spanish, and online practice tests and electronic test-preparation books for the SAT, GED, ASVAB, and TOEFFL exams.
