From Staff Reports
Billy Abrahamsen will continue his wrestling career at Truett McConnell College. After signing with Limestone College in April, Abrahamsen decided that Truett McConnell would be a better fit for him. Truett-McConnell College will be adding wrestling to its athletic program beginning in the fall of 2011. National Wrestling Hall of Fame Coach, Jim Bailey, has been appointed the new wrestling coach. Bailey comes with 33 years of coaching experience. It was Bailey's leadership and core values and that led Abrahamsen to Truett McConnell. "He's an outstanding person and coach," Abrahamsen said. "I feel he will do an outstanding job building the program. I'm excited to be part of the building process for Truett McConnell wrestling."More like this story
