Howard “Papa Willie” Marion Williams, Jr. Mr. Howard “Papa Willie” Marion Williams, Jr., 86, of Morrow, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011. He retired from the United States Army as Sergeant First Class E7 where he served in WWII, Vietnam and Korea. Among his many awards he received 2 Purple Hearts and 3 Bronze Stars. He is survived by wife of 32 years, Sarah; children, Carol and Billy Schenck, of Jonesboro, Chuck and Wendy Williams, of Williamson, Chris Williams, of Atlanta, Ronnie and Marilyn Williams, of Asheville, N.C., and Michael and Suzanne Clark, of Alpharetta; sister, Gloria; and grandchildren, Bradley, Josh, Mandy, Kailey, Cameron and Cecilia. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 13, in the Ford-Stewart Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Tommy Amen officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 12 (TODAY), from 6 p.m., to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, Inc.
