Miracle is a three and a half year old German Shepherd mix. He has been neutered and fully vaccinated. He is also heartworm negative! Miracle's name is no accident...it is truly a miracle that he has survived a very tragic past. Miracle began as a "rescue" who was sent to an organization who represented themselves as a "sanctuary". The "sanctuary" was discovered to be nothing more than a hoarding facility. Poor little Miracle, along with literally hundreds of other animals, were living in horrible, squalid conditions. When officials stepped in and shut down the inhumane operation, several legitimate rescue groups stepped in to help these poor animals. Volunteers with CCHS were lucky enough to obtain Miracle, and bring him back to Georgia, where he could be properly vetted and to begin the search for a new home for this special little boy. Even though Miracle only has three legs, it does not slow him down. He gets around just fine, and is even able to play with other dogs of similar size. He also does well with cats. This sweet boy is very loving and affectionate with people, and would do well in most any home situation. And another BONUS....he's already housebroken. To speak directly with Miracle's foster mom, please call Maria at 404-630-8515.
