Mrs. Amy Dawn Gladden Waller, age 37, of Barnesville, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011 in an Upson County healthcare facility. Mrs. Waller was born in Griffin to her parents, Mr. David Warren Awtry and Mrs. Gayle Crawley Shearouse. She held a bachelors degree in psychology from Wesleyan College. Mrs. Waller was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. Survivors include her husband, Larry David Waller, Jr.; one daughter, Betsy Gladden; two sons, Bryan Gladden and Lane Waller; two stepchildren, Brannon Waller and Carlyn Waller; mother, Gayle Crawley Shearouse; father, David Warren Awtry; step-mother, Elizabeth Royeton; three sisters, Wendy Sullivan Ebetino (Scott), Jan Sullivan Sneed (Franklin), and Crystal Awtry; brother, Ryan Awtry (Nikky); paternal grandmother, Evelyn Awtry; one step-brother, Roy Cook; and two step-sisters, Sandra Cook Dillon and Angela Cook Hobby (Chuck). Funeral services were conducted Friday, July 22 at 4 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of Barnesville with the Rev. Garth Forster officiating. Interment followed in the Waller Family Cemetery.
