Lucy Estelle Scarbrough Bolton Lucy Estelle Scarbrough Bolton, 88, of McDonough, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011. Born on Aug. 31, 1922, in Stockbridge, Lucy was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Monday, July 25, at Horis A. Ward’s Fairview Chapel, with the Rev. Claire Yoder officiating. Burial followed at Fairvew Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark W. and Jill Bolton, of McDonough; grandson, Mark T. Bolton; granddaughter, Sarah M. Bolton, both of McDonough; sister, Betty T. Braselton, of Conyers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Bolton, Sr., and son, Thomas L. Bolton, Jr. The family received friends Sunday, from 2 to 6 p.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Zion UMC, 984 Panola Road, Ellenwood, Ga. 30294. Horis A.
