James "Jimmy" R. Grizzle, Jr., also affectionately called Paw Paw, 53, of Stockbridge, Ga., died Thursday, July 21, 2011. He was born in Gainesville, Ga., to James Russell Grizzle, Sr. and Gerri Smith Letzring. He was a member of Stockbridge Community Church, and a U.S. Army veteran who had a tour of duty that included the Vietnam War. Mr. Grizzle was formerly employed as a conductor with Norfolk Southern Railroad. Jimmy was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. Jimmy was preceded in death by his fathers, James R. Grizzle, Sr. and Bob Letzring. Mr. Grizzle is survived by his soul mate, Suzy; children, Matthew and Abby Grizzle, of Locust Grove; Mallory and David Adamson, of Ft. Polk, La.; Jeremy Holiday, of Florida ; mother, Gerri Letzring; sister and her family, Vicki, Hamid, Tanya and Chris Zand, of Marietta, Ga.; brother and his family, Bobby, Angela, Morgan and Ryan Letzring, of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Ethan and Eli Grizzle, Bentley Adamson; his in-laws, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 25, at 11 a.m., at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
