Clayton County Public Schools will have summer enrollment, today, from 8 a.m., to, 11:30 a.m.; and 1 p.m., to 4 p.m., at all elementary, middle, and high schools in the district. Other dates listed below.

The Clayton County Library System's Headquarters Branch will host a "Norway! No way!" program on Wednesday, July 27, from 2 p.m., to 3 p.m., at 865 Battle Creek Rd., in Jonesboro. Call (770) 473-3850.

Thursday

The Clayton County Library System's Morrow Branch will host a "Snake Outreach" program on Thursday, July 28, from 10 a.m., to 11 a.m., at 6225 Maddox Road., in Morrow. Call (404) 366-7749.

The Clayton County Library System's Jonesboro Branch will host a "One World, Many Stories with Ms. Jen" program on Thursday, July 28, from 10:30 a.m., to 11:15 a.m., at 124 Smith Street., in Jonesboro. Call (770) 478-7120.

Saturday

Clayton County Public Schools will host a community party celebrating the lifting of probation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). The free event will be at the Gerald Matthew's Soccer Complex in Lovejoy, Saturday, July 30, from, 3 p.m., to 7 p.m.

Monday

The Clayton County Board of Education will hold it's scheduled meeting at 6 p.m., at the Administrative Complex, located at 1058 Fifth Avenue, in Jonesboro.

Air Force Reserve Airman Eric D. Santiago graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, in San Antonio, Texas. Santiago is a 2006 graduate of Riverdale High School, and is the son of Widalys Sosa and Elmer Santiago, of Riverdale.

* July 27 and 29; Aug. 1, 2, and 3, from 8 a.m., to 11:30 a.m.; and 1 p.m., to 4 p.m.

* July 28 and Aug. 4, from 1 p.m., to 7 p.m.

The Clayton County Public Library System offers many services to students, including tutoring programs for those who speak either English, or Spanish, and online practice tests and electronic test-preparation books for the SAT, GED, ASVAB, and TOEFFL exams.
