Football match-up benefits Securus House

The Clayton County Police Department will face Clayton County firefighters in a flag football match Sunday, July 31, to benefit Securus House.

Gates open at Tara Stadium at 5:30 p.m., with kick-off an hour later. Tickets are $5 and are available at all police precincts. Admission is free for children 12 and under. Tara Stadium is on Battle Creek Road in Jonesboro.

For the past 26 years, the Clayton County Association Against Family Violence, Inc., also known as the Securus House, has provided shelter, support, counseling and advocacy for victims of family violence in Clayton County and the surrounding metro Atlanta counties.
