Richard Lee Moore, Jr., 51, of McDonough, passed away July 31, 2011. He was born in Atlanta to the late Richard L. Moore, Sr. and Emma Jean Lott Moore. Ricky enjoyed fishing, hunting and NASCAR. He loved his sons and family. Survivors include his sons, Jimmy Moore, of Griffin, Nick Moore, of McDonough; grandson, Bryer Moore; love of his life, Samantha Moore, her daughter, Anna; brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Pennie Moore, of Stockbridge; niece, Tiffany (Keith) Shearer, of Woodstock; nephew, Matt (Ashley) Moore, of Locust Grove; uncle, Marvin (Opal) Moore, of McDonough; several cousins and long-time friend, Deborah Parker. A private memorial will be held Thursday, August 4 (TODAY). Airport Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
Jason LeeRoy Cannon, 51, of McDonough, passed away on July 31, 2011. Jason is survived by his wife, Anna E. Cannon. He is the son of J.L. Cannon, of Greenville, S.C. and the late Lois J. Cannon. Also surviving are his sisters, Jimmie J. Minter (Charles), of Riverdale, and Jennifer Cannon, of Atlanta, and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog Fan and NASCAR enthusiast. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 13, at 4 p.m., at Liberty Baptist Church, 1077 Hwy 314, Fayetteville, Ga. 30214. Officiation will be by the Rev. Randy S. Wood. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, or Egleston Childrens Hospital.
