Mr. Sam Glaze, 56, of Jonesboro, passed away July 7, 2011. He worked for the Clayton County Board Of Education. He is survived by his son, Michael Glaze, of Hampton; daughter, Amanda Glaze, of Jonesboro; Fiancé; Pam Scott, of Jonesboro; mother and stepfather, Lila (Roy) Geeslin, of Jonesboro; brothers, Harry (Mary Ann) Glaze, of Fayetteville, Thomas (Brenda) Glaze, of Bethlehem; stepsister, Betty (Johnny) Jones, of Augusta; grandchild, Kloie Whitmire; nephews, Gabriel, Chris Glaze; nieces, Christina Glaze, Jennifer Strickland, Jeanette Hood and other nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held, Sunday, July 10, at 2 p.m., in the Ford Stewart Funeral Home Chapel. Pastors Chuck Scott and Ralph Martin will officiate. Interment will be at Noah’s Ark Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 9, from 5 p.m., to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
