Funeral Home: arl J. Mowell Funeral Home Bertrum Fred Long Mr. Bertrum Fred Long, 92, of Fayetteville, passed away on May 30, 2011. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Minnie Long; son, David Long and his wife Carol, of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Scot Long and his wife Shelly, of Conyers, Ginger McKnight, of Butler; and eight grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 2, at 2 p.m., in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Dr. Randy Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Riverdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 1, from 5 p.m., to 8 p.m., in the funeral home.
