Funeral Home: Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home Evelyn Margaret Patton Adamson Mrs. Evelyn Margaret Patton Adamson, 90, of Hampton, passed away on June 1, 2011. Mrs. Adamson graduated from Fulton High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emory S. Patton, Sr., and Carrie Lee Helms Patton; her two brothers, Edward Patton, and Emory Patton, Jr. She is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Joe Adamson; daughters Sandra Howard, of Milner, JoAn and Dick Steele, of Fayetteville, and Brenda and James Allen, of Fayetteville; son Joey Adamson, of Jonesboro; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother Raymond and Emily Patton, of Chatsworth, Ga.; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 4, at 11a.m., in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Forest Park.
