Age: 55
Steve Ballard, 55, of McDonough, passed away June 8, 2011. Steve was a local attorney in Clayton and Henry Counties for many years, and he was a devoted father, and an avid sports fan. He exercised his lifelong love of baseball by his involvement in local youth leagues and by serving as an AABC (American Amateur Baseball Congress) board member. Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 16, at 6 p.m., in the Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church. Survivors include sons, Chad (Jennifer), Drew (Mandi) and Trey Ballard; three grandchildren, and a brother, Paul Ballard. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Sr. and Jennie Ballard.More like this story
