It was almost as easy as plucking fish from a barrel.

Clayton County Police Officer Eddie Soto said pursuing officers were able to catch four Fayetteville robbery suspects Thursday morning as they sat in traffic congestion on Ga. 85.

Soto said a Fayetteville police detective in an unmarked car followed the four after they left the Wal-Mart a few miles south of Riverdale on Ga. 85. Clayton County Police assisted in the capture, intervening near Forest Parkway where the four were stuck in traffic.

Soto said police arrested Darrell Caldwell, 51; Howard Jessie Lowe, 45 and Trakhanna Nakia Scott, 34, all of Decatur, as well as Sarah Jell Douglas, 33. They were turned over to the Fayetteville Police Department.

Police also recovered a large amount of reportedly stolen cash and a bank deposit bag.
