Age: 80
Mrs. Annie “Lois” Gibbs, 80, of Griffin, passed away on June 9, 2011. Mrs. Gibbs was preceded in death by her husband Emmett “Bruce” Gibbs, and her four brothers. She is survived by her son, Larry Bruce Gibbs, of Griffin; daughter, Ann Ruth Tinsley, of Griffin; grandchildren, Truman Tinsley and his wife Tara of Cumming, Kimberly Register and her husband Brandon, of Locust Grove, and Joey Tinsley, of Williamson; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Tinsley, of Cumming, and Ansley Register, of Locust Grove; brothers, John “Will” Pike, of Sautee, Billy Ray Pike, of Griffin and Earl Franklin Pike, of Foley, Ala.; sister, Linda Diane Bartlett, of Dalton; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 12, at 1p.m., in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Rev. Johnny Pike officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 p.m., to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Carl J.
