Age: 77
Mrs. Mary Ann Lee, 77, of McDonough, passed away June 14, 2011, at her residence. She was born in Fairburn, Ga., to the late Toy Jack and Lulabelle Jenkins Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Lloyd Russell Lee. She and her late husband were very entrepreneurial, with many businesses over the years, including Riverdale Florist. She was the Honorable Mayor of Riverdale for 16 years, a member of Riverdale Presbyterian Church, and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Tommy Lee, Tammy (John) Heathcock, Tim Lee, Toy (Ginny) Lee, all of McDonough; grandchildren, Christopher Lee, Chandler Lee, Ann Marie Heathcock and Justin Lee; sister, Margaret Nancy Rawlins, of Stone Mountain. Private funeral services will be held. The Rev. David Tew will officiate. Friends may visit the family TODAY (Wednesday), from 5 p.m., to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Contributions are asked to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Mary Lee.
