Misty is a one and half year old Dachshund mix. She has been spayed and fully vaccinated. Misty came into CCHS after being stung by multiple bees, and her family could not afford to take care of her immediate emergency vet care. Misty was quickly treated by our vets, and has now fully recovered from her near-tragic ordeal. She is a super-sweet little lady, and she has loads of energy and playful spirit. She loves to play with balls and frisbees, and she really enjoys the doggie pool at the CCHS shelter. She does well with other dogs as long as they are a just a bit larger than her....she can be a bit bossy with smaller dogs (but most dogs are larger than this little "peanut" anyway!). Misty would be a perfect dog for an active person or family, especially if there were children to play with her. This little one would make a great addition to someone's loving home!
