Funeral Home: Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors
Nannie Crowe Nannie Crowe, of Forest Park, passed away, June 20, 2011. A service will be held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors, Thursday, June 23, at 11 a.m. Dr. Murray Edwards to officiate. Interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. Mrs. Crowe worked as a welder on Liberty ships in Brunswick, Ga., during WWII and continued on to work at Burt's Shoe Store. She was a long-time member of Faith Memorial Assembly of God. She is survived by her sons, Jack E. Chalmers, of Braselton, Bill Chalmers, of Forest Park, and Danny Crowe (Gayle), of Newport, Tenn.; sister, Lorena Maire (George), of Lincoln, Neb.; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday (TONIGHT) from 5 p.m., to 8 p.m. Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors, Morrow, Ga., (770) 961-2828, is in charge of the arrangements.
