ATLANTA-- Clayton State basketball player Zachary Bradley, 19, of Riverdale was transferred this week from Grady Memorial Hospital to Shepherd Center in Atlanta. Bradley sustained multiple traumatic injuries, including a spinal cord injury, in a motor vehicle accident on May 26.

Bradley was admitted to Shepherd Center's Intensive Care Unit for evaluation, care and observation.

After doctors at Shepherd Center determined an appropriate treatment plan for Bradley, he began a rehabilitation program under the guidance of a full team of medical and rehabilitation specialists.

The family is appreciative for the outpouring of support from the community, but requests privacy during Bradley's recovery and rehabilitation.

Bradley played high school basketball at North Clayton High School and just completed his freshman year with the Lakers.
