A line of thunderstorms that swept through the region early Sunday evening knocked out power to roughly 15,000 residents between Henry and Clayton counties.
Georgia Power spokeswoman Carol Boatright reported the power was quickly restored to Georgia Power's customers.
"We had a little less than 14,000 customers out in the Clayton-Henry area last night as the storms moved through, but all are restored now," Boatright said.
Central Georgia Electric Membership Corporation (EMC) suffered a total of 2,585 customer meters without power due to storms, according to Central Georgia EMC Marketing Services Manager Christy Chewning.
Chewning said a total of 658 meters were without power in Henry County, with the bulk of the outages in the Macon area.
