Arts Clayton will have an opening reception for the "13th Congressional Student Art Competition," on Friday, March 4, from 5:30, to 7:30 p.m., at the Arts Clayton Gallery, 136 South Main St., Jonesboro. Clayton State University's Small Business Development Center has scheduled a "Money Management Series," on Monday, March 7, March 14, March 21 and March 28, from 1, to 4 p.m., at Clayton State-Fayette in Peachtree City, 1200 Commerce Drive. The workshop series is targeted for small business owners and will cover the fundamentals of maintaining positive money habits. The cost of each workshop is $69, and the series is $299. Ladies of Favor, Inc., a Jonesboro non-profit organization, is in need of individuals, who will be willing to book a vacation, or sponsor a young lady who is part of the organization, for "Vacation With a Purpose." The Clayton State University Small Business Development Center will host "Fast Trac" seminars at the Henry County Chamber of Commerce, 1709 Highway 20 West, McDonough. Clayton State University's Center for Continuing Education, and the National Archives at Atlanta, will host a series of history courses at the archives, from 6:30 p.m., to 8:30 p.m., at 5780 Jonesboro Road, Morrow. The Arts Clayton Board of Directors will have its "5th Annual Arte Gras Gala," on March 12, at 7 p.m., at the National Archives at Atlanta, 5780 Jonesboro Road, Morrow. Doorways PREP, Inc., needs male mentors for at-risk youths. Bilingual speakers who would like to mentor for the Riverdale non-profit organization are also welcome. The American Cancer Society in Clayton County is in need of volunteers for its Road to Recovery program to drive cancer patients to, and from, their cancer treatments. Free training is provided.
