Tonight head coach Dan Maehlman will lead the Jonesboro basketball team into a quarterfinal matchup against Hardaway for the right to go to the Class AAAA Final Four.
Thursday, the man who also serves as the school's baseball coach, watched the Cardinals stay perfect on the diamond, beating Arabia Mountain 9-8.
Jonesboro plays its Region 4-AAAA opener Monday against Forest Park.
