Funeral Home: Sherrell Funeral Home
Little Kyson Lamar White, infant son of Amanda McMichael and Franklin White, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011 at Children’s Healthcare at Egleston. He was born on Feb. 3, 2011 in Stockbridge. Little Kyson White is survived by his mother, Amanda McMichael; father, Franklin White; two sisters, Shaylon and Makayla White; grandparents, Wren and Billy Ward, Ricky and Kimmy McMichael, and Charlie White; great-grandparents, Sylvia and Richard Johnson, Wynnell McMichael and Essie Mae Johnson, all of Jackson; several aunts and uncles and cousins by the dozens. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Lamar McMichael and Janet Johnson, and great-grandparents, Robert Johnson and Mattie White. Funeral services were held at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 27, in the Chapel of Sherrell Funeral Home with Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment was at Jackson City Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday evening. A memorial fund has been established at McIntosh State Bank for Kyson.
