The Arts Clayton Board of Directors will have its "5th Annual Arte Gras Gala," on Saturday, March 12, at 7 p.m., at the National Archives at Atlanta, 5780 Jonesboro Road, Morrow. The event will support the scholarships and arts-in-education programs of Arts Clayton. It will include musical entertainment, a dinner buffet, prizes and a cocktail hour. Clayton State University's Small Business Development Center has scheduled a "Money Management Series," on Monday, March 14, March 21 and March 28, from 1, to 4 p.m., at Clayton State-Fayette in Peachtree City, 1200 Commerce Drive. The series is targeted for small business owners and will cover the fundamentals of maintaining positive money habits. The cost of each workshop is $69, and the series is $299. The Clayton State University Small Business Development Center will host "Fast Trac" seminars at the Henry County Chamber of Commerce, 1709 Highway 20 West, McDonough. The Clayton County Convention & Visitors Bureau, in partnership with Historical Jonesboro/Clayton County, Inc., will host the 18th Annual "Taste of Clayton," on April 9, from 11 a.m., to 3 p.m., in Downtown Jonesboro. Doorways PREP, Inc., needs male mentors for at-risk youths. Bilingual speakers who would like to mentor for the Riverdale non-profit organization are also welcome. The American Cancer Society wants volunteers for its "Look Good, Feel Better" program for cancer patients in Clayton, Coweta, Fayette and Henry counties. The "Anniversary Tour," can be scheduled anytime during the month of a couple's anniversary. The American Cancer Society in Clayton County is in need of volunteers for its Road to Recovery program to drive cancer patients to, and from, their cancer treatments. Free training is provided. In order to volunteer, individuals must have a good driving record, a valid driver's license, automobile insurance and a vehicle that operates well. The Southern Crescent Sexual Assault Center will host a support group for survivors of sexual assault every first and third Tuesday of the month, for 12- to -18-year-olds, and every second and fourth Tuesday, for ages 18 and up.
