Buron Arnold Collum Buron Arnold Collum, Sr., 66, of Locust Grove, passed away March 10, 2011. He was born to the late William Zackary Collum, Sr., and Frances Lucille Sims Collum. He was a retired truck driver from Bowman Transportation and Estes Express, and was a former Teamsters. Mr. Collum, also known as Duke, enjoyed cars, motors, tinkering, fishing, camping and swap sales. He was a family man who loved his children, grandchildren and dogs, Lady and Sissy. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Zackary Collum, Jr. and a sister, Sylvia Prather. Survivors are his children, Chip (Rhonda) Collum, of Stockbridge, Candy Ferguson, of McDonough and Lance (Denise) Collum, of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Brett Collum, Brittany Ferguson, Leah Stockton, Kyle Ferguson, Chase Collum, Will Stockton, Anna Stockton and Kylie Collum; great granddaughter, Jocelyn Paul; siblings, Marrell Collum, of LaGrange and Lynn Collum Foster, of LaGrange; nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mr. Collum will be Monday, March 14, at 3 p.m., from the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. The Rev. Ricky Mosel will officiate. Friends may visit the family, Sunday, from 2 p.m., to 4 p.m., at the funeral home.
