Funeral Home: Parkway Garden Chapel
Hazel Lee Little Hazel Lee Little, 83, of Conley, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011, after a courageous battle. Mrs. Little enjoyed teaching Sunday School at her beloved Ash Street Baptist Church, reading and traveling. She was an artist, loved to crochet afghans, and could make the best cornbread. Hazel was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Steele Little. She is survived by her daughters, Frankie (Lauriston) Little Hardin, of Newnan, Lynn (William) Bryant, of Lavonia; four grandchildren, Thomas Hardin, Mollie Hardin, Nicole Stowe, Samantha Nixon; four great-grandchildren, Matti, Trinity, Cayleigh, Harleigh; sisters, Thelma Wilson, Nora Daniels; niece, Joyce Gibson, and other nieces and nephews; her nurse, Arnetta McMichael, and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 11, at 2 p.m., at Ash Street Baptist Church in Forest Park, with Dr. Murray Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, also in Forest Park. Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Little was a frugal, very gentle lady, whose independence stood strong to the end. She was loved by all who knew her, and she will be truly missed.
